THE MEGA VAULT — RETURN POLICY
Overview
At The Mega Vault, your satisfaction is our top priority. We partner with trusted third-party vendors to offer a wide selection of jewelry, accessories, and fragrances. Because products are fulfilled by different vendors, certain return conditions may vary. This policy outlines our general return guidelines; however, specific vendor requirements may apply in some cases.
Return Window
All return requests must be submitted within 30 days of receiving your order.
We strongly recommend inspecting your items upon delivery to ensure any issues are reported promptly. Requests made after 30 days may not be eligible for return or refund.
General Return Conditions
To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following conditions:
- Unworn, unused, and unaltered
- Undamaged and in original condition
- Returned in original packaging
- Include all original tags, certificates, and accessories
Items that show signs of wear, damage, or alteration will not be accepted.
Final Sale & Non-Returnable Items
The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable:
- Items marked as Sale or Final Sale
- Custom or special-order jewelry, including custom mountings or made-to-order pieces
If a final sale item is returned, it will be sent back to the customer.
Exception:
If a final sale or custom item arrives damaged, you must contact us in writing within 5 days of delivery to review available options.
How to Request a Return
To initiate a return, please contact our support team with:
- Order number
- Item(s) you wish to return
- Reason for return
- Ring size (if applicable)
Once approved, you will receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
Important:
- Do NOT send any returns without an RMA number
- The RMA number must be clearly written on the outside of the package
- Returns without proper authorization may be refused
Return Shipping
Return shipping requirements vary depending on the product category and vendor:
Jewelry & Fashion Accessories
- Prepaid return labels may be provided where applicable
- Availability of prepaid labels depends on vendor eligibility and geographic limitations
- Items must be shipped within 30 days of receiving the return label
Fragrances
- Return labels may be available in select regions (e.g., US and UK)
- A $6.95 USD deduction will be applied when using a provided return label
Fine Jewelry
- All returns must be:
- Prepaid by the customer
- Fully insured for the item’s value (including shipping)
- Sent with signature confirmation
Important Shipping Notes
- Return addresses vary by vendor — do NOT ship items back without instructions
- Some returns may require inclusion of our company name on the package
- Do NOT write product-related terms (e.g., “jewelry”) on the package exterior
- Use secure packaging (padded envelope or box)
We are not responsible for items lost or damaged due to improper packaging.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, refunds will be processed as follows:
- Issued to the original payment method
- Credit card refunds processed within 3–5 business days
- Fragrance refunds may take up to one billing cycle
Deductions & Non-Refundable Costs
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error
- Shipping costs are also non-refundable for:
- Refused deliveries
- Unclaimed packages
- Undeliverable shipments
- A $6.95 USD fee applies for fragrance return labels (if used)
Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item:
- Contact us within 10 business days of delivery
- Include photos if possible for faster resolution
Depending on the situation and vendor policy, we may offer:
- Replacement item
- Store credit
- Refund
Note:
Resolution type may vary depending on vendor policies.
If you choose a replacement, return shipping costs may not be reimbursed.
If you opt for store credit, return shipping may be reimbursed with proof of postage.
Restocking Fee
A 15% restocking fee may apply to non-defective returns. This will be deducted from your refund.
Fragrance Returns — Special Note
We understand that fragrance is subjective. You may return a fragrance if it has not been used excessively.
- Lightly tested items may qualify for a full refund
- Heavily used items may receive a partial refund
Color & Display Disclaimer
We strive to display product colors and details as accurately as possible. However, variations in screen displays may result in slight differences. These are not considered defects.
Vendor Policy Disclaimer
Because we work with multiple fulfillment partners, certain return conditions may vary depending on the vendor. In such cases, vendor-specific policies may take precedence over general guidelines outlined here.
